Expert in HD and UHD SDI and IP systems

Experience using broadcast video over IP standards including SMPTE 2022-6/7, 2110 and 2059 along with AES67 and Dante
Understanding of IP technologies such as AMWA NMOS IS 04, 05, 06 and 07
Practised in the setup and operation of baseband and IP router platforms
Proven in configuring large, multi-layer routing databases often with multiple fabrics
Experience in the set up and use of orchestration and router management systems such as EVS Cerebrum
Refined in the configuration and operation of Sony and Grass Valley video switchers: Kahuna, Karerra, Kayenne and MVS
Knowledge of the setup of VTR Machines and EVS systems and their associated workflows and technologies
Adept at the setup and operation of talkback matrixes, Riedel Artist and RTS Telex
Competent in the setup, design and operation of multiviewer systems such as the GV M82X and UCP MVs, Imagine Platinum SX Pro and Evertz VIPs
Skilled in the setup and operation of Sony and Grass Valley System Cameras
Capable of operating colour balance and other controls required to accurately match cameras in the field
Experience in different broadcast colour spaces and dynamic ranges and the conversion processes required between them
Able to operate and configure audio mixing consoles and lighting consoles when required
Comfortable in the use of various manufacturers of modular infrastructure systems "glue"
Knowledge of Satellite Uplink and Downlink Technology
Experience with encoders, decoders and video compression formats and transmission
Conversant with electrical power systems, UPS and Generators
Proficient in the control and on site repair of hydraulic systems and their controllers
